The inspiration behind this class
This class was born out of my deep love for the wild & collaging—the simple, soulful act of gathering fragments and transforming them into something whole. There’s something healing about taking scraps—of paper, of memory, of nature—and finding beauty in their coming together.
The title Into the Wild reflects both the inspiration of nature—its raw textures, imperfect beauty, and quiet rhythms—and the creative spirit of wandering freely.
Each page in this journal is a walk through metaphorical woods. We layer paper like tree bark, fray fabrics like windswept edges, and stitch stories into the surface.
The photo 👉 is from one of my Himalayan treks in Shimla—a moment of stillness in the middle of wild mountain woods. I love trekking and often find calm & clarity in nature.

Hi, I'm Debasree...
… your guide on this an intuitive mixed-media art journal adventure!
After a decade in the IT corporate world, I returned to art and found healing in collage — the quiet joy of bringing fragments together to create something whole. It became a way to slow down, listen inward, and express without needing words.
Since 2016, I’ve taught art to nearly 20,000 students worldwide and led 700+ in-person workshops. My classes are gentle, tactile, and rooted in the belief that creativity should feel calming, soulful, and deeply personal.
Whether you’re a complete beginner or simply looking to reconnect with your creativity, I’m here to guide you through an experience that nourishes both your hands and your heart.
