painting steps:
Prepare the Sky and Background Hills
Start by creating a soft gradient in the sky using light blue and white acrylics. As the background consists of hilly terrain, use brushstrokes to build the soft shapes of the hills, fading them into the horizon. You can introduce hints of darker blues and greens to add depth.Form the Curvy Road
Using a flat brush, paint the S-curve of the road winding through the hills. Keep the center of the road lighter, blending into darker tones as you approach the edges to add perspective.Paint the Fall Trees
Now it’s time to paint the bright fall trees lining the road. Use a fine brush to detail the trunks and then switch to thicker brushes for the foliage. Blend orange, red, and yellow hues to create a sense of vibrancy and movement in the foliage.Detail the Road and Add Leaves
Use a palette knife for the fallen leaves scattered along the road. This will give them a textured, dimensional look. Vary the size and color of the leaves to make them look natural.
