Painting Steps:
Start with a Purple Sky: Blend lavender into white for a dreamy, misty background that sets the tone for the painting.
Add Distant Pine Trees: Paint faint, blurry pine trees in dark purple or gray to create depth and a sense of mist in the distance.
Paint Foreground Trees: Use darker purple for bold, simple pine trees in the foreground. These should contrast with the soft, misty background.
Apply Textured Snow with Impasto: Use a palette knife or flat brush to layer thick white paint for the snowy foreground. Keep the texture uneven to mimic natural snowdrifts.
Final Touches: Blend hints of lavender or blue into the snow while it’s wet for added depth, and add highlights or shadows for finishing details.
